Children Doing God’s Work

“They have helped to get things ready: assisting the priest with vestments, lighting candles, carrying the books used at Mass, ringing the bells, saying prayers in practically every language known. They have been getting up early in the morning and staying up late at night. Of utmost importance, however, is not really the things they do but the example they give. More than anything else, the altar server is a prayer leader.”

It gives us pleasure to hear Pope Saint John Paul II speak of our children, our altar servers in such glowing, lofty and encouraging terms. And so we beckon Parents to encourage the children of our parish to begin an active participation in the life of the church.

We invite them to Ministry as Altar Servers - one ministry almost exclusively for children - to help them grow closer to God through service to the church. Children must have made their First Holy communion, and must be in the 4th grade or older. If you are interested please fill out the form by Clicking on the link below.
